What this site does not do

This site sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking of any kind, and embeds no third-party content. The typeface is served from this server, so no connection to Google Fonts is made. There is nothing to consent to, and therefore no cookie banner.

Server log files

When you open this site, your browser sends data that is technically necessary to deliver it. The server records it in log files:

• IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of the request
• the address requested
• amount of data transferred and the HTTP status code
• referring page and browser identification

This serves the technical operation of the site, troubleshooting, and defence against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is running the site securely and without interruption. This data is not combined with any other source. Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

Contact by email

If you write to me, I process your message and your address in order to reply. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the exchange concerns a prospective contract. Your message is deleted once it is no longer needed.

The link to LinkedIn

This site links to a LinkedIn profile. No LinkedIn content is embedded and nothing is loaded in advance. LinkedIn only processes your data once you follow the link, and their own privacy policy applies from that point.

Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object (Art. 21). Write to the address above to exercise them. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority at any time (Art. 77 GDPR).
